After returning from the Gobi Desert and the Altai Mountains, it's time to explore the capital of Mongolia – Ulaanbaatar, the nearby Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, and, of course, the Genghis Khan Statue. We kick off with a panoramic view of the city from the Zaisan Memorial, then visit the Winter Palace of the Bogd Khan and the Gandan Monastery, home to the 26-meter-high Statue of Avalokiteshvara. We wrap up the city tour at Sukhbaatar Square and the so-called Point Zero in the heart of Ulaanbaatar. We also catch a glimpse of traditional Mongolian wrestling right by our Khubilai Hotel before heading out to the Gorkhi-Terelj National Park. We travel on horseback from the park's iconic Turtle Rock to the gates of the Aryapala Meditation Temple. After exploring this beautifully situated mountain sanctuary, we head back toward Ulaanbaatar, stopping at the legendary Genghis Khan Equestrian Statue – atop a massive steel horse, which is officially the largest equestrian statue in the world, listed in the Guinness World Records. And that's how we say goodbye to Mongolia :) Back in August, we took off for a 2-week trip to Mongolia. Our main targets were the Gobi Desert and the remote Altai Mountains right on the border with Russia and China. Of course, we also spent some time exploring the capital city, Ulaanbaatar, and the nearby Gorkhi-Terelj National Park. Mongolia is a stunning, wild, and incredibly empty country, dominated by endless landscapes, raw nature, and the unique culture of its nomads. It will forever remain in our hearts. Massive thanks to the whole crew from Alpha Team Tours. They made this entire journey a fantastic and safe adventure: https://www.travelgobimongolia.com https://www.mongoliatour.com @ganzotravelgobimongolia3271 This video has no dialogues or narration – just pure visuals (including plenty of drone footage) and music. This is the final, but make sure to check out the other two videos from our Mongolian adventure! Enjoy watching and see you there and here ;) @tamitu_gory Chapters: 0:00 - Ulaanbaatar View from Zaisan Memorial 1:06 - Winter Palace of Bogd Khan 1:40 - Gandan Monastery 2:21 - State Palace and Sukhbaatar Square 3:32 - Gorkhi-Terelj National Park - Turtle Rock (drone) 4:11 - Horse Riding to Aryapala Monastery 4:42 - Aryapala Meditation Temple (drone) 7:04 - Mongolian Wrestling 7:30 - Genghis Khan Equestrian Statue #Mongolia #Ulaanbaatar #UłanBator #Overland #DronePhotography #CinematicTravel #TravelGobi #AlphaTeamTours
