Hi! I’m Vanessa and I am a first-generation medical student. I’ll be graduating medical school in about a year and a half so as most people do I have been reflecting on my journey up until now. It has been shocking and overwhelming at every step of the way because of many reasons, but lack of REAL INSIGHT into what this journey could look like for someone else played a major role.
