DREAM THEATER - The Dance of Eternity | Mike Portnoy's Drums on a 3D Reactive Kit | 4K 60FPS

I took inspiration for this video's format from @vardanse. Credit to him for the original format idea. Check out his work:    / @vardanse   Watch the full drum part of "The Dance of Eternity" by Dream Theater, hit by hit, on a 3D drum kit. Every drum and cymbal lights up the moment the stick lands, ghost notes too. The count and the tempo sit in the corner. The world around the kit grows out of the artwork of Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory. 0:00 Part 1 0:31 Main Theme 0:44 Guitar Riff 0:57 Part 2 1:16 Piano Break 1:29 Part 4 1:44 Part 6 1:55 Part 7 2:05 Part 8 2:16 Part 9 2:32 Ragtime Solo 2:48 Part 10 3:06 Bass Solo 3:21 Build Up 3:50 Part 11 4:17 Climax 4:29 Part 13 4:42 Part 14 5:13 Part 15 5:44 Part 16 5:55 Outro 6:10 Transition / Ending Kit: Tama Starclassic kit with two 24 inch bass drums, four rack toms, six Octobans and Sabian cymbals. I modelled it from his own kit plan of 2000. Drum transcription: I start from the community tab on Songsterr and lock every note to the recording. You're watching a full 3D render, every frame in 4K at 60 fps. Subscribe and turn on the bell. "Sonne" by Rammstein comes out here on 26 October, and YouTube tells you the moment it does. Which song do you want next on this kit? Name it and its drummer in the comments. #DreamTheater #MikePortnoy #TheDanceOfEternity #Drums
