EP 6 Exploring Oz - Cairns - Cooktown - QLD - Australia

In this episode we leave Cairns after three days of rain and very little to no exploring to head further north to Cooktown. We travel up the Captain Cook Highway to Mossman before then heading inland on the Mulligan Highway. From lush tropical scenery to dry savannah desert like terrain. We visit the Mt Carbide Hotel for lunch before then punching up into Cooktown. Cooktown is a must see with lots to explore in and around the township. We visit the Lions Den Hotel, Finch Bay, Quarantine Bay, Grassy Hill before then heading bush to visit Levathan Falls and very glad we did, its an awesome little piece of paradise. After a few days in Cooktown we head south again with Port Douglas in our sights.
