Ural Wills: Rooftop Bank Heist to Ruth Mayer Kidnapping - The FBI Files

A masked thief slices into a Martinez bank roof at dawn and vanishes in gunfire minutes later. Hours after a strange diversion call, a second crime shatters the Bay Area. Follow agents as a Glock firefight, a trail of $20 bills, and a brand new Jeep with no plates point to a name that keeps reappearing: Ural Wills. A red jacket, cash hidden in a sneaker, and a hospital injury that doesn’t match the story raise the stakes. Then a jeweler’s wife is taken, a $2 million demand appears, and a Ford Explorer yields a clue with two engraved letters that flips the case. From cell-site leads to a blue tarp and the sounds of trains, every detail tightens the net while one decision on Christmas Eve changes everything. Watch how local police and the FBI connect a rooftop bank heist to a chilling home invasion, expose the diversion, and close in on a crew that thought they were untouchable. Don’t miss the moment a single sensory memory cracks the hideout. Watch the full episode now. #TheFBIFiles #TrueCrime #BankRobbery #Kidnapping #FBI #ColdCase #Forensics
