EVERY SINGLE Aeldari Craftworld Explained! | Warhammer 40K One, Guardian Squad. A Guardian is a citizen-soldier of the Craftworld, a non-specialist Aeldari who takes up arms in defense of their people when professional warriors are insufficient or crisis demands every available hand. In the lore, Guardians represent the most painful arithmetic of a civilization too small to absorb losses — every civilian who lifts a shuriken catapult is a loss the Craftworld's gene pool and infinity circuit cannot easily recover from, and yet they are called anyway; in Dawn of War II Retribution, they are the cheap, flexible core infantry that secures strategic points and holds ground while specialist Aspect Warriors are deployed where the fighting requires precision.
