He began to teach in their synagogues and was praised by everyone. When he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, he went to the synagogue on the Sabbath day, as was his custom. He stood up to read, and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." And he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him. Then he began to say to them, "Today this scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing." All spoke well of him and were amazed at the gracious words that came from his mouth. They said, "Is not this Joseph's son?" He said to them, "Doubtless you will quote to me this proverb, "Doctor, cure yourself!' And you will say, "Do here also in your hometown the things that we have heard you did at Capernaum.'" And he said, "Truly I tell you, no prophet is accepted in the prophet's hometown." + Օրուայ Ս. Աւետարանի Ընթերցում ԸՍՏ ԸՍՏ ՂՈՒԿԱՍԻ (4.14-23) Յիսուս Գալիլեա վերադարձաւ Սուրբ Հոգիին զօրութեամբ, եւ ամբողջ գաւառին մէջ իր համբաւը տարածուեցաւ։ Անոնց ժողովարաններուն մէջ կ՚ուսուցանէր՝ արժանանալով բոլորին հիացումին ու գովասանքին։ Եկաւ Նազարէթ քաղաքը, ուր մեծցած էր, եւ իր սովորութեան համաձայն Շաբաթ օր ժողովարան գնաց։ Երբ ոտքի ելաւ կարդալու համար օրուան ընթերցուածը, իրեն տուին Եսայի մարգարէին գիրքը։ Բացաւ եւ գտաւ այն տեղը ուր կ՚ըսէր. – «Տիրոջ Հոգին վրաս է. որովհետեւ զիս օծեց եւ ղրկեց՝ աղքատներուն փրկութեան աւետիս տալու, սրտաբեկները մխիթարելու, գերիներուն ազատութիւն բերելու, կոյրերուն աչքերը բանալու, հարստահարուածները ազատելու եւ յայտարարելու՝ թէ ահա հասած է ժամանակը, երբ Տէրը պիտի փրկէ իր ժողովուրդը»։ Ապա գոցեց գիրքը, տուաւ պաշտօնեային եւ նստաւ։ Ժողովարանին մէջ գտնուողներուն բոլորին աչքերը իրեն սեւեռած էին երբ ըսաւ. – Այս մարգարէութիւնը որ դուք լսեցիք, ահա այսօր իրականացաւ։ Ամէնքն ալ տպաւորուած էին իրմէ եւ հիանալով անոր շնորհալի խօսքերուն վրայ՝ կ՚ըսէին. – Այս մարդը Յովսէփի որդին չէ՞: Յիսուս ըսաւ. – Անտարակոյս ինծի պիտի ըսէք հետեւեալ առածը. «Բժի՛շկ, դուն քեզ բժշկէ»։ Եւ ինչ որ լսեցինք որ գործեր ես Կափառնաումի մէջ, այստեղ՝ քու հայրենի գաւառիդ մէջ ալ կատարէ։ Եւ աւելցուց. – Բայց դուք ալ գիտէք, որ մարգարէն իր ծննդավայրին մէջ յարգ չունի։ + La Lecture Biblique du Jour: Luc 4:14-23 Alors Jésus, avec la puissance de l'Esprit, revint en Galilée, et sa renommée se répandit dans toute la région. Il enseignait dans leurs synagogues et tous disaient sa gloire. Il vint à Nazara où il avait été élevé. Il entra suivant sa coutume le jour du sabbat dans la synagogue, et il se leva pour faire la lecture. On lui donna le livre du prophète Esaïe, et en le déroulant il trouva le passage où il était écrit: ”L'Esprit du Seigneur est sur moi parce qu'il m'a conféré l'onction pour annoncer la Bonne Nouvelle aux pauvres. Il m'a envoyé proclamer aux captifs la libération et aux aveugles le retour à la vue, renvoyer les opprimés en liberté, proclamer une année d'accueil par le Seigneur.” Il roula le livre, le rendit au servant et s'assit; tous dans la synagogue avaient les yeux fixés sur lui. Alors il commença à leur dire: «Aujourd'hui, cette écriture est accomplie pour vous qui l'entendez.» Tous lui rendaient témoignage; ils s'étonnaient du message de la grâce qui sortait de sa bouche, et ils disaient: «N'est-ce pas là le fils de Joseph?» Alors il leur dit: «Sûrement vous allez me citer ce dicton: “Médecin, guéris-toi toi-même.” Nous avons appris tout ce qui s'est passé à Capharnaüm, fais-en donc autant ici dans ta patrie.» Et il ajouta: «Oui, je vous le déclare, aucun prophète ne trouve accueil dans sa patrie.» *** Celebrant: Archpriest Fr.
