Պատարագ La Sainte Messe de Dimanche Live Stream from St. Peter Armenian Church, Van Nuys, CA, August 23, 2026 Today's Bible Reading: Luke 1:39-56 In those days Mary set out and went with haste to a Judean town in the hill country, where she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth. When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the child leaped in her womb. And Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit and exclaimed with a loud cry, "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. And why has this happened to me, that the mother of my Lord comes to me? For as soon as I heard the sound of your greeting, the child in my womb leaped for joy. And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her by the Lord." And Mary said, "My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has looked with favor on the lowliness of his servant. Surely, from now on all generations will call me blessed; for the Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is his name. His mercy is for those who fear him from generation to generation. He has shown strength with his arm; he has scattered the proud in the thoughts of their hearts. He has brought down the powerful from their thrones, and lifted up the lowly; he has filled the hungry with good things, and sent the rich away empty. He has helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy, according to the promise he made to our ancestors, to Abraham and to his descendants forever." And Mary remained with her about three months and then returned to her home. + Օրուայ Ս. Աւետարանի Ընթերցում ԸՍՏ ՂՈՒԿԱՍԻ (1.39-56) Նոյն օրերուն, Մարիամ ճամբայ ելլելով՝ աճապարանքով գնաց Յուդայի լեռնային շրջանի քաղաքներէն մէկը։ Հոն Զաքարիայի տունը մտնելով՝ Եղիսաբէթի ողջոյն տուաւ։ Երբ Եղիսաբէթ Մարիամի ողջոյնը լսեց, իր որովայնին մէջ երեխան շարժեցաւ, եւ Եղիսաբէթ Սուրբ Հոգիով ներշնչուած՝ բարձրաձայն ըսաւ. – Կիներուն մէջ օրհնեա՜լ ես դուն եւ օրհնեա՜լ է զաւակը որ կը կրես որովայնիդ մէջ։ Ի՜նչ երջանկութիւն, որ Տիրոջս մայրը ինծի կ՚այցելէ. որովհետեւ երբ ողջոյնդ լսեցի, երեխաս ուրախութեամբ շարժեցաւ որովայնիս մէջ։ Երանի՜ քեզի որ հաւատացիր, որովհետեւ Աստուծոյ կողմէ քեզի ըսուածները պիտի կատարուին։ Մարիամ ըսաւ. «Տէրը պիտի գովաբանեմ. ահա հոգիս կ՚ուրախանայ Աստուծմով, իմ Փրկիչովս, որովհետեւ ան տեսաւ իր աղախինին հեզութիւնը։ Ասկէ ետք բոլոր սերունդները երանի պիտի տան ինծի, քանի հզօրն Աստուած ինծի համար մեծամեծ գործեր կատարեց. սուրբ է անունը անոր։ Բոլոր ժամանակներուն մէջ ողորմութեամբ ան կը նայի աստուածավախ մարդոց վրայ։ Իր բազուկով ան զօրութիւն ցոյց տուաւ, ոչնչացուց հպարտները՝ իրենց բոլոր խորհուրդներով։ Գահազրկեց արքաները եւ բարձրացուց խոնարհները։ Անօթիները բարիքներով լիացուց, մինչ հարուստները դատարկաձեռն արձակեց։ Պաշտպան եղաւ իր ծառային՝ Իսրայէլի, հաւատարիմ մնալով իր ողորմութեան, ինչպէս որ խոստացած էր մեր հայրերուն՝ Աբրահամի եւ անոր զաւակներուն»։ Մարիամ Եղիսաբէթի մօտ շուրջ երեք ամիս մնալէ ետք վերադարձաւ իր տունը։ + La Lecture Biblique du Jour: Luc 1:39-56 Dans les jours qui suivirent, Marie se mit en route et se rendit en hâte dans une localité de la région montagneuse de Judée. Elle entra dans la maison de Zacharie et salua Élisabeth. Au moment où celle-ci entendit la salutation de Marie, l'enfant remua en elle. Élisabeth fut remplie du Saint-Esprit et s'écria d'une voix forte: «Dieu t'a bénie plus que toutes les femmes et sa bénédiction repose sur l'enfant que tu auras! Qui suis-je pour que la mère de mon Seigneur vienne chez moi? Car, vois-tu, au moment où j'ai entendu ta salutation, l'enfant a remué de joie en moi. Tu es heureuse: tu as cru que le Seigneur accomplira ce qu'il t'a annoncé!» Marie dit alors: «De tout mon être je veux dire la grandeur du Seigneur, mon cœur est plein de joie à cause de Dieu, mon Sauveur; car il a bien voulu abaisser son regard sur moi, son humble servante. Oui, dès maintenant et en tous les temps, les humains me diront bienheureuse, car Dieu le Tout-Puissant a fait pour moi des choses magnifiques. Il est le Dieu saint, il est plein de bonté en tout temps pour ceux qui le respectent. Il a montré son pouvoir en déployant sa force: il a mis en déroute les hommes au cœur orgueilleux, il a renversé les rois de leurs trônes et il a placé les humbles au premier rang. Il a comblé de biens ceux qui avaient faim, et il a renvoyé les riches les mains vides. Il est venu en aide au peuple d'Israël, son serviteur: il n'a pas oublié de manifester sa bonté envers Abraham et ses descendants, pour toujours, comme il l'avait promis à nos ancêtres.» Marie resta avec Élisabeth pendant environ trois mois, puis elle retourna chez elle. *** Celebrant: Archpriest Fr.
