Rocksmith+ Bass – The Unforgiven III by Metallica

Playing "The Unforgiven III" by Metallica on bass in Rocksmith+. Recorded July 10, 2026. "The Unforgiven III" appears as track seven on Metallica’s 2008 album Death Magnetic, which was released September 12, 2008. Metallica credits James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo as the song’s writers. Rather than simply repeating the earlier "Unforgiven" songs, this one centers heavily on regret, self-blame, and the struggle to forgive yourself. The lyrics use sailing and shipwreck imagery throughout, giving the song a darker, reflective feel. "The Unforgiven III" was later nominated for Best Hard Rock Performance at the 52nd Grammy Awards in 2010. Metallica’s own performance archive lists its first live performance as April 14, 2010. 🎸 Rocksmith+ bass gameplay 📅 Recorded July 10, 2026 🎶 Heavy metal / hard rock vibes 💿 From Death Magnetic (2008) ✍️ Written by James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett & Robert Trujillo ❤️ WILDFIRE RELIEF I'm supporting American Red Cross Disaster Relief.
