Rocksmith+ Bass – Let’s Get Together by Skeeter Davis & George Hamilton IV

Playing "Let’s Get Together" by Skeeter Davis & George Hamilton IV on bass in Rocksmith+. Recorded July 11, 2026. Skeeter Davis recorded "Let’s Get Together" as a duet with fellow country singer George Hamilton IV for her 1970 album A Place in the Country. The recording was produced by Ronny Light and released by RCA Victor. The song was written by Chet Powers, also known as Dino Valenti. It’s the same composition commonly known as "Get Together," which became especially famous through The Youngbloods’ version during the late 1960s. The lyrics are built around a simple message of unity and choosing love over division, making this country duet version an interesting contrast to the folk-rock interpretations most closely associated with the song. Davis and Hamilton’s recording was also released as a single in 1970 and reached No. 65 on the U.S. country chart. 🎸 Rocksmith+ bass gameplay 📅 Recorded July 11, 2026 🎶 Classic country / folk vibes 💿 From A Place in the Country (1970) ✍️ Written by Chet Powers / Dino Valenti 🎤 Duet with George Hamilton IV ❤️ WILDFIRE RELIEF I'm supporting American Red Cross Disaster Relief.
