Micah Part 8- The Remnant

Join us as Dr. Kathy Harwood continues her series on the book of Micah with a message entitled *“The Remnant,”* from Micah 5:7–15. In this passage, we discover how God's steadfast love preserves His people, purifies their hearts, and promises lasting hope through Jesus Christ. Through the powerful imagery of dew, a lion, and the destruction of idols and earthly strongholds, Micah reminds us that our security rests not in human strength, but in God's sovereign power and faithfulness. Dr. Harwood explores three essential truths: 1. *God Preserves His People* — His grace sustains a faithful remnant, even in times of widespread unfaithfulness. 2. *God Purifies His People* — He removes the things that compete for our trust, refining our faith and drawing us closer to Him. 3. *God Promises True Hope* — Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, we find forgiveness, redemption, and the assurance of God's promises. This message challenges us to examine where we place our trust and reminds us that God's love not only preserves us but transforms us. *Scripture References:* Micah 5:7–15; Romans 11:4–5; 1 Peter 1:6–7; Romans 3:25–26. #ShirleyChristianFellowship #Micah #TheRemnant #SundaySermon #GodsFaithfulness #JesusChrist
