40 Year Anniversary of Chicago’s 80s remake of “25 or 6 to 4” featuring Jason Scheff!

In honor of the upcoming 40th year anniversary of Chicago 18, here’s the first single that got a ton of hate—even though I think it’s a great '80s version of "25 or 6 to 4"! Of course it’s nowhere close to the original 1970 version, but this version still rocks, and the band would actually open their shows with this song in 1986 and '87 and end with the original. It was producer David Foster’s idea to remake a classic Chicago song, and at first they were gonna do "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?", but they agreed on this one to introduce their new lead singer Jason Scheff, who had just taken over for Peter Cetera.
