At least… YOU THINK YOU HAVE. 😂 Then suddenly: “Wait.” … “WHAT ARE WE ARGUING ABOUT?” And that’s where everything falls apart. WE’VE HAD THIS ARGUMENT BEFORE — I JUST FORGOT MY SIDE is a 94 BPM Neo-Soul / Contemporary R&B / New Jack Swing relationship comedy about two people who have been together long enough to recognize an argument… even when one of them can no longer remember his position. 😂❤️ It started somewhere around the kitchen. She’s by the counter. He’s by the sink. He remembers being extremely confident. He remembers using his hands while explaining something. He’s pretty sure there was evidence. “What evidence?” … “THAT’S WHERE THE RECORD GETS A LITTLE UNCLEAR.” 😂 But he definitely disagreed. Probably. She asks the obvious question: “Then what did I say?” He knows she said something. Then he said something. Then she corrected something. Then he corrected her correction. And somewhere around minute five… HE LOST THE ENTIRE CASE. But there’s one thing he’s certain about: HE STILL DISAGREES. He just can’t remember why. Which gives us the hook: WE’VE HAD THIS ARGUMENT BEFORE I JUST FORGOT MY SIDE I KNOW I DISAGREED WITH YOU I JUST CAN’T REMEMBER WHY And naturally, she thinks that means the argument is over. “So we’re done?” “Absolutely not.” “Why?” … “GIVE ME A SECOND.” 😂😂😂 Then she makes a tactical mistake. She offers to remind him what his argument was. “Would you like me to refresh your recollection?” “No.” “Why not?” “BECAUSE YOU’RE GONNA MAKE YOURSELF SOUND REASONABLE.” 😂 Unfortunately for him, she brought evidence. He claims she never told him something. She says she did. “When?” “Tuesday.” “Allegedly.” “YOU RESPONDED.” … “That complicates things.” 😂 Then she delivers the fatal blow: “You said, ‘Okay, I got it.’” Silence. “DO YOU HAVE THAT IN WRITING?” She does. She has the text. And now a casual kitchen disagreement has somehow become a full evidentiary hearing. 😂 But then she finally reminds him of his original argument: “You said I should’ve reminded you.” His face lights up. “YES! THAT’S IT!” The case has been recovered! He’s back! Except… “I did remind you.” … “Twice.” And just like that: THE CASE IS CLOSED AGAIN. 😂 By this point she’s trying not to laugh. Which creates an entirely new problem. “Stop smiling.” “I’m not smiling.” “YOUR CHEEK MOVED.” “My cheek?” “I saw it.” “So now we’re monitoring cheeks?” “Don’t change the subject.” And then she delivers the line that may end the entire argument: “YOU DON’T KNOW THE SUBJECT!” … “That was unnecessarily accurate.” 😂❤️ That’s what this song is really built around—not toxic fighting, breakup drama or somebody needing to “win.” It’s two people who know each other so well that even an argument can become funny before either one is ready to admit it. And eventually… food becomes more important than whatever started the whole thing. “So… are we finished?” “I think so.” “You think?” “I’M RESERVING THE RIGHT TO REMEMBER SOMETHING LATER.” “No.” “That’s fair.” Then comes the peace treaty: “You want something to eat?” “Yeah.” “What do you want?” “I DON’T CARE.” “Okay. Pizza.” … “I DON’T WANT PIZZA.” Silence. “What?” “AND HERE WE GO AGAIN.” 😂😂😂❤️ Some arguments don’t end.
