𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝙻𝚘𝚜𝚝 𝙵𝚘𝚕𝚔 𝙰𝚛𝚌𝚑𝚒𝚟𝚎 Folk from Places That Never Existed ✦ Vareska · 1874 Vareska was imagined as a remote settlement hidden inside a vast red canyon, where houses were built into the cliffs and a narrow river carried life through fields of wheat, vines and herbs. Stone paths connected the terraces, goats moved along the upper slopes, and an old bridge stood at the center of village life. Here, water was measured carefully. Each family had its hour to open the stone channels and guide the river toward its fields. When a child crossed the main bridge alone for the first time, the family tied a strip of colored cloth above the water — leaving generations of faded fabric moving in the canyon wind. ♪ Perfect For ✦ • Deep Listening • Reading & Writing • Quiet Cafés • Slow Evenings • Thoughtful Work • Journaling • Headphone Listening • Historical Atmosphere • Rural Folk Mood • Poetic Storytelling • Imaginary Travel • Quiet Reflection --- ▪︎ The music of Vareska follows the rhythm of working life beside the river. Flowing irrigation water, footsteps on stone, distant goats, market shutters and canyon wind remain part of the soundscape. Dry bowed strings, handmade lute, reed pipe, clay percussion and river stones create a sparse folk language shaped by the land rather than by modern production. The vocal remains clear and direct, carrying the imagined customs and memories of the village. The music stays slow, earthy and restrained, with long spaces between phrases and no dramatic climax — as though the song is simply another part of the evening beside the river. This is The Lost Folk Archive: imagined songs and traditions from places that never existed, each with its own landscape, rituals, people and memory. A village carved into red stone. A bridge that remembers generations. A year measured by the return of water. ✦ A Personal Musical Reimagining conceived, written, arranged, and produced by SaeidTalebi ○ 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 — 𝐢𝐟 𝐕𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐚 𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲, 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲.
