CSX Trains in Sterling Ohio 8/21/2026 | CSX New Castle Subdivision

During my last train watching trip planned at the New Castle Subdivision to conclude summer before getting into a busy upcoming 2nd year sophomore year student at college, I decided to use this time to do it on Friday morning to afternoon before the weekend's possible thunderstorm effect and i have successfully caught 8 trains in nearly 7 hours by then ending up in a decent day even when the new Eby Road has paved few years ago for the new opened road traffic and even including the lucky CSX 1827 Baltimore & Ohio Heritage Unit leader catch, i did not expect to see bypass here. Despite it, during the hot temperature weather at about 80 degrees fahrenheit there were so many bees outside near the tree swarming while standing to go railfanning and ended up getting stung, which i haven't had gotten stung one for several years when i was young kid and it was pretty painful even though I forgot to bring in bug spray for the session, however anyways it was a pretty decent day overall and I think the new castle sub wasn't a major disappoint for trains for the new B&O traffic running trains efficiently.
