The Golden Girls (1985): Cast Then & Now — 41 Years Later… What They Hid From You

Four women Hollywood had already written off. One house in Miami. Twenty-five million viewers on opening night. This Golden Girls cast then and now retrospective covers what the cameras never caught. The woman who played Sophia was younger than the woman who played her daughter. Dorothy was a real wartime Marine who denied it her entire life — the truth only surfaced after she was gone. Sophia failed the audition twice and hid her lines inside that straw purse. And Betty White spent eleven years as the last Golden Girl standing. More classic TV cast then and now retrospectives every week on Nostalgia Rewind. #goldengirls #thenandnow #castthenandnow #nostalgiarewind #classictv #bettywhite #beaarthur #80stv
