DIY Papier Mâché Floor Lamp | Part 1💡📦 Building the Base & Structure

Welcome to Part 1 of my DIY papier-mâché floor lamp series! ✨ In this video, I’m starting my sculptural floor lamp completely from scratch. I begin with a round wooden base, build the inner structure using cardboard tubes, run the electrical cord through the lamp, and prepare the socket. Then I start creating the first sculptural shape using simple paper and tape. It may not look like a designer lamp yet — but this is only the beginning! In the next episodes, I’ll continue building the shapes and cover the structure with handmade papier-mâché, transforming these simple materials into a unique statement floor lamp. ⚠️ Electrical safety: Always follow the instructions for your specific plug, cord, and lamp socket.
