PERSPEKTIVES WITH BANK | OMERETTA

On this episode of Perspektives With Bank, Big Bank sits down with one of Atlanta’s most requested artists, Omeretta The Great, for an unfiltered conversation about her journey, her growth, and everything that’s happened behind the scenes. Omeretta opens up about finally finding peace at 30, growing up in Atlanta’s Zone 3, losing her father at a young age, and being raised by her mother and grandparents. She explains how the things she experienced growing up shaped her mentality, her loyalty, and her commitment to always keeping it real. She also gets candid about the business side of her music career—from being locked into a contract for seven years to management issues, music being taken down, missed opportunities, and why inconsistency was never about a lack of talent or work ethic. Now 100% independent, Omeretta explains why she wants complete control over her music, money, image, and career. The conversation goes even deeper as Omeretta and Bank discuss the Atlanta she grew up in versus Atlanta today, the pressures women face in hip-hop, being labeled “hard to work with,” staying authentic instead of changing for the industry, mental health, depression, healing, confidence, relationships, cheating, trauma bonds, forgiveness, red flags, and knowing when it’s time to walk away. Omeretta also talks about working with Jazze Pha and Mike WiLL Made-It, her dream Rihanna collaboration, why consistency matters more than talent alone, and why she believes everything she has gone through prepared her for what’s coming next. This is Omeretta beyond the headlines—independent, outspoken, healed, focused, and ready for her next chapter.
