Up the Lawley

#shropshire #hills #hiking The Lawley Hill lies North East of the popular Long Mynd range in the Shropshire Hills. Standing at 1,237 feet its smaller than its big brother Caer Caradoc. I had left it a bit late in the day to hike up Caer Caradoc so decided to have an easy going wee adventure up the Lawley instead, following the four mile or so circular route which takes one up to the summit down the other side and along a trail at foot of hill back to car park. Weather was ok to start with and stayed reasonably clear to enjoy the views before it started lashing it down, but that didn't dampen my enjoyment of having a nice afternoon out in this stunning part of Shropshire.   / brumlordgoesoutdoors
