Railfanning Chicago Heights, IL 10/24_26 Part 1: GTW GP38-2 led CN L515 and more!!!

I decided to head back to Chicago Heights, IL at the junction of the CN Matteson sub and the UP/CSX Joint Line. Even though I arrived a bit later than I hoped I still was able to get quite a bit in a little over 8 hours. Out of the 9 trains in the portion, 6 were on the CN including the Westbound trip of the L515 local which had a nice lashup of two GTW GP38-2s, an EJ&E SD38-2), a CN GP38-2W, and a CN GP40-2LW. On the UP/CSX side a patched Southern Pacific AC44CW trailed on a Northbound mixed manifest. The action continues in part 2 which will be up tomorrow.
