300Tdi Starter Motor - Removal and Refit

Girlfriends 300Tdi starter has been intermittent, sometimes works, sometimes it takes a few flicks of the key to get it to spin up. DON'T FORGET TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY FIRST As I also have a 300Tdi with a much newer starter, I decided to swap them over to see if it is the starter at fault or the wiring thereto....time will tell if it now happens on mine (confirming starter) or if it still happens on hers (confirming wiring or other fault).
