DOGBITE just brought pure violence with PUNISHMENT ROUTINE. Today we're checking out the latest single from DOGBITE, the heavy hardcore band from Leipzig, Germany, and this one hits HARD. Crushing breakdowns, metallic hardcore riffs, beatdown energy and some seriously nasty dissonant moments, Punishment Routine feels like DOGBITE pushing their sound into an even heavier and more modern direction. The track is the title track from their upcoming 6-song EP “PUNISHMENT ROUTINE,” dropping October 1st, 2026, and follows a rapid rise that started with their DEMO 2023 and saw them make serious noise in the German hardcore scene. What really caught me here is how DOGBITE keep that raw, live-show hardcore aggression while bringing in more dissonant and experimental elements without losing the impact of those absolutely disgusting breakdowns. Lyrically, the band hasn't officially explained the meaning of the song yet, but the title Punishment Routine definitely gives off the feeling of repetition, punishment and being trapped inside destructive cycles.
