Maidstone Street level crossing, Altona (northern) | LXRA Metro Crossing!

G'day everyone! On the 26/6/26 and the 18/9/26 I filmed the Maidstone Street level crossing in Altona. Not to be confused with the crossing at Westona station, this crossing is on the express section. This is one of a few places in melbourne where trains go at the maximum speed for metro trains of 115kph! This crossing is being removed with a road bridge and should be complete by 2027!
