Walk from Phrom Phong toward Nana along Sukhumvit Road in the morning, this time following the EVEN SIDE — the even-numbered soi side of the street. Starting at 8:41 AM, this September 2 walk travels west through Sukhumvit, capturing commuters, traffic, hotels, local businesses, sidewalks, building entrances, sois, and the everyday movement of central Bangkok. Although Phrom Phong and Nana are connected by the BTS Sukhumvit Line, walking between them reveals the street-level details that are easy to miss when traveling above the road by train. This video is the counterpart to the same Phrom Phong → Nana walk filmed the previous morning. On September 1, I started at 8:58 AM and followed the ODD SIDE. On September 2, I returned at 8:41 AM and walked the same direction from the EVEN SIDE. The starting times are only 17 minutes apart. The destination and direction remain the same, but changing sides of Sukhumvit Road reveals different sois, entrances, shops, sidewalks, pedestrian flows, and views across the street. This video also completes a four-walk comparison between Nana and Phrom Phong. Two journeys travel from Nana toward Phrom Phong, and two return from Phrom Phong toward Nana. September 1 was filmed from the ODD SIDE, while September 2 was filmed from the EVEN SIDE. Across the four videos, the same section of Sukhumvit can be experienced in both directions and from both sides of the road, showing how a familiar route can reveal a different Bangkok simply by changing where and how you walk.
