We're back with Mistfall Hunter, and this time we're playing the full release! Sonny is joined by ‪@kespata‬ and ‪@dukeramza‬ for some good old-fashioned ganking, banking, looting, and hopefully extracting alive. Sonny had a great time with the Mistfall Hunter playtest, so he's been looking forward to getting his hands on the full game. The idea of taking a Soulslike and turning it into a multiplayer extraction game is just too damn cool. Dark Souls-style combat. Loot. PvE monsters. Other players who want our loot. And the ever-present possibility that everything we've collected disappears because we got greedy. What could possibly go wrong? About Mistfall Hunter Mistfall Hunter is a dark-fantasy third-person PvPvE extraction ARPG developed by Bellring Games. The game takes place in Weavereach, a shattered world where the gods have fallen and the mysterious Gyldenmist is consuming the land. Players take on the role of Gyldhunters, venturing into the mist to fight monsters, collect valuable loot, and hopefully make it back alive. What makes Mistfall Hunter especially interesting is the combination of Soulslike combat and extraction gameplay. You're not simply running through a dungeon and killing everything you see. You need to decide how much you're willing to risk, where you're going to explore, what loot you're going to take, and—most importantly—when it's time to get the hell out. And you're not alone. Other hunters are out there looking for the same loot, meaning any encounter could turn into a fight for survival. Sonny has been wanting a multiplayer Soulslike for a while, and this game might finally scratch that itch.
