24 Hours Alone in My Restored Forest Cabin

Hello, I'm Dmitry. Today I return to my little log cabin hidden beside a quiet forest creek to finish bringing this forgotten place back to life. During my previous trips, I repaired the walls and roof, built a sturdy door, made a table and bed, restored the wood stove, and cleared the area in front of the cabin. I also added a small outdoor table, a bench, and a fire pit where I can cook and relax beside the water. This time, I want to complete a few final details. I install a window, build a small footbridge across the creek, and make a simple outdoor washstand to make everyday life here more comfortable. The forest already feels like autumn. The air is filled with the smell of mushrooms, fallen leaves, wet wood, and fresh water from the creek. I spend 24 hours here alone, improving the cabin, cooking over the fire, carrying water, and enjoying the quiet rhythm of life far away from civilization. By evening, everything feels complete. What was once an abandoned and forgotten shelter has finally become a warm and peaceful place I can truly call my wilderness home.
