Tips for the GED RLA Extended Response

This video is part of the Family Literacy Center’s GED Training Series and focuses on Extended Response tips for the Reasoning Through Language Arts test. In this video, students and tutors will learn helpful strategies for understanding the Extended Response portion of the GED RLA test. We will review tips for organizing ideas, using evidence from the text, staying focused on the prompt, and writing clearly. These tips are based on strategies we have found helpful when supporting GED students in and outside of the classroom.
