Retro Rewind #35 CN Bayview New CP AC4400CW’s From GE At Aberdeen Yard Guelph Jct & Paris Dundas Sub

This is a video filmed from September 30, 1995 to October 7, 1995. The video begins with capturing mainline railway action from Southern Ontario at famed Bayview Junction in Burlington where some morning CN trains are filmed. From there the footage shifts to CP’s Aberdeen Yard in Hamilton where several brand new CP AC4400CW’s are seen having just been delivered from the GE plant in Erie, Pennsylvania. These units were part of an order numbered 9500-9582 that were delivered from August-October 1995 and were painted in the duel flags paint scheme. The video continues with scenes on CP’s Galt Subdivision at Guelph Jct. and then a return to Bayview Junction a week later as well as the town of Paris on CN’s Dundas Subdivision. This footage was captured by former CN employee, railfan, videographer, photographer and model railroader Al Wendt and is copyrighted and used with permission.
