With spring around the corner, let's make a contemporary spring basket using a wire hanging basket and some flexible twigs For this project you'll need Metal hanging basket - we decided a smaller basket worked best, this is the one I used - https://amzn.to/48UTUZ3 Paper covered bind wire - https://amzn.to/48TtXsX Test tubes (optional) - you don't need to add flowers at this stage https://amzn.to/3SlMUNS If using plastic test tubes you'll need to cover them in stem tape https://amzn.to/47XQgM You'll also need: Flexible stems - Cornus/dogwood, willow, weeping willow or silver birch Your choices of flowers, including some trailing greenery too (optional) This month's design was inspired by a workshop I attended with Jacqui Arnold, who in turn was inspired by Stein Are Hansen, the Norwegian florist.
