Giant Coal Train With Helper Locomotives, Train Drops The Signal, Amtrak Booking Through A Banked Curve, Amtrak Train Horn Salute & Giant Auto Racks Train With DPU At Horseshoe Curve, Pennsylvania. I also stopped at Altoona in an area known as The Brick Yard. I got an intermodal train there. It's pretty cool seeing the old BNSF units on the Norfolk Southern trains. Wells Fargo Rail owns them and are leasing them to Norfolk Southern. I stopped at Cresson on my way back westbound. Right when I got there a big coal train was passing by. I missed the lead locomotives but got the DPU and then right after it passed another train was following it. I'm glad I decided to film it. We also get to see the signal drop from green to red as the train passes. I went to the other side of the tracks in Cresson by walking through the pedestrian tunnel. Hold your nose going through there. It has a strong urine smell. I also stopped by Bird In Hand, Pa. I got two fast Amtrak trains there. Then we see Altoona and Horseshoe Curve. I know I got some of the trains out of order in this video. I have been sick for a few days and put this video together with a fever and had to take a break to go outside to upchuck. I was planning on going to Indiana to film some trains but that has been cancelled. I rarely get sick. The giant auto racks train at Horseshoe Curve had a Union Pacific DPU working hard. In the video I said that I probably wouldn't film the whole train but I did film it completely. Filmed Saturday and Sunday, June 24 & 25, 2023 in 1080p with 60fps. Thanks for watching!
