Every winter, thousands of kilometres from where it was born, a traveller arrives in Pakistan. It doesn’t announce itself. It simply steps into the shallows and stands there.
Meet the White-tailed Lapwing (Vanellus leucurus): long yellow legs, a pure white tail, and a habit of wading where other lapwings won’t. In this documentary, we look at how to identify it, how it feeds, where it breeds, and why Pakistan’s wetlands matter to it.
In this video:

✔ Habitat and feeding behaviour
✔ Breeding
✔ Its place in Pakistan’s wetlands
Filmed in the wild, uncut and real.
