Interesting "OtisHouse" Traction Elevators - 3000 Southfield Town Center - Southfield, MI

We now move on to 3000 Southfield Town Center, the tallest building at the Southfield Town Center Complex, and the tallest building in the Detroit metropolitan area that's not in the city limits of Detroit. The elevators here are quite interesting. These were originally Westinghouse, but they got a mod by Otis with older series 1 in the 80's....something you certainty don't see everyday! I assume these are still relayed controlled, but I am not sure. These run decently well overall, are in nice shape, and are quite fast for 30 floors (about 1200 FPM if memory serves me right). Unfortunately, the service car and shuttle car on 30 (shown at the start of the video) has been modded by TKE, so I am not sure if these have much time left....
