Muick and Sandy, the last two corgis of the late Queen Elizabeth II, have left Windsor. After Andrew left Royal Lodge in February 2026, the two dogs were photographed on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk, outside Wood Farm, the farmhouse where Prince Philip spent his retirement and where the Queen spent her last winter at Sandringham. The palace has only ever said that the corgis remain with the family.
This royal documentary follows the Queen's corgis from Dookie in 1933 and Susan, the eighteenth-birthday present who went on her honeymoon, to the two lockdown puppies who arrived while Prince Philip was in hospital in 2021. It covers the corgis at the Queen's funeral at Windsor, their years at Royal Lodge with Sarah Ferguson, and their new life in Norfolk, on the estate where the Queen's father was born and died, and where she sketched the headstone of her first corgi herself.
In this video, you'll learn:
• Why Wood Farm is the most meaningful place the corgis could have been seen
• The one word the Queen insisted on adding to Susan's headstone
• What stood on her desk at Sandringham on the 70th anniversary of her reign
Aristo Life covers the untold stories of the royal family: deep-dives, hidden histories, and the moments that change everything.
