Trains at Ribblehead and Before the Storm at Carlisle 24 October 2026

22nd and 24th October at Ribblehead and at Carlisle. At Ribblehead I was able to record 47701 heading north with a Stoneblower plus that day's Rail Head Treatment Train in action. Two days later at Carlisle impending Storm Boelo meant trains were beginning to be cancelled. The wind made it rather uncomfortable to be out and the light wasn't great. All the same we see passenger trains and freight workings in the afternoon. I had recorded several trains in the morning but another glitch with my camcorder reformatting my SD Card meant I lost a few good clips. The times shown on clips are for guidance only and shouldn't be taken as definitive. Any observations are my own and not intended to show any authority and may show my misunderstanding.
