The big Hot Shots update has been released for The Crew 2 and the first Summit called "Polar Rush" is going on. Here you can see how to get top results in all 9 events of this Summit, which will not only easily get you into the platinum ranks but even much higher than that. :) Timeline: 0:00 Summit Introduction and Polar Rush Summit Rewards (April 24 to May 1) 0:34 Escape Skill "St. Julian Peak" with Rally Raid Mercedes-Benz X-Class 2:11 Aerobatics Skill "St. Julian Peak" with Air Race Harmon Rocket HR III 3:42 Speedtrap Skill "Glacier Park" with Air Race North American P-51 Mustang Strega 4:26 Power Boat Event "Pacific Coast" with Proto Offshore MK1 6:43 Street Race Event "To The Big Cow" with Lamborghini Huracán LP610-4 10:28 Drift Event "Upper East Side" with Mazda RX-7 13:14 Rally Raid Event "Arch Park Trail" with Ducati Monster 1200 S 16:46 Air Race Event "Jersey City" with North American P-51 Mustang Strega 19:12 Street Race / Alpha GP Combo Event "Harlem East" with Red Bull RB14 As you might know in The Crew 1 I did more than 200 videos of top leaderboard runs in different Summit events, so of course I wanted to do something for the first Summit in The Crew 2 as well. And this time I recorded not only some but all 9 of the events. :) The first Summit "Polar Rush" has a winter theme, so there is snow in a lot of the events. There are not a lot of vehicle restrictions though, so for most people it should be possible to do all 9 of the events. The platinum reward for this Summit is only a pink vanity tire, so the first week is more of an introduction to the Summit. In the second week there will be some big rewards though. The Escape skill is one of the hardest events of this Summit but it does feel very rewarding to pull it off perfectly. You can use several different Rally Raid cars here like the Mercedes, Porsche 959 or even the Peugeot 3008. The very top scores have been done with the Jaguar hypercar but unless you are going for rank 1 you don't need to look into that. For the Aerobatics skill you can use an Air Race plane and you should use performance parts that give you extra skill points if you have them. The very top guys even have the legendary set for double skill points but this is very difficult to get. For both Escape and Aerobatics you should turn around at the start to gain some additional speed before starting the skill. In the Speedtrap skill you can get a good score with a variety of weird vehicles like drag cars, planes and even boats. The very best scores have been done with boats dropping from the sky but the easiest way to get a good score is with an Air Race plane, so that's what I would recommend. The Power Boat, Street Race and Drift events are just regular events. Your score in the Drift event depends a lot on your part bonuses but you shouldn't spend too many resources on improving them because next week one of the rewards is actually a perfect set of Drift parts, so you should just wait for those and save your money and spare parts for other disciplines. The Rally Raid event takes place on a new track, which has a shortcut near the end. Both cars and bikes seem to be competitive here, with Porsche, RUF and several Ducati bikes all found on top leaderboard ranks, so you can use what you prefer. The Air Race event requires a particular plane, which has a landing gear that can be pulled in and it might save a tiny bit of time to pull it in manually. Most important is to hit all the gates perfectly though, just like in the Aerobatics skill. Finally we got the "Combo" event of the week, where we drive with Alpha GP cars on a difficult Street Race track in the snow. This track also has a shortcut near the end but if you find it difficult you can also just follow the arrows. This cut isn't as major as the Raid one. Hopefully this guide will help some of you improve some of your scores and your overall leaderboard rank as a result. Since 3000 people finish with a platinum rank on each platform I think this should be achievable for almost anyone who really tries. And now you got a video guide for all 9 of the events as well. I will try to make another video like this next week when you can earn some big rewards like the perfect Drift parts and the exclusive Red Fury edition of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X. And if these videos get a lot of views, then I might continue to do them for quite while, so make sure to share them with your friends who also play the Summit if you want to see more of these. :)
