The second week of The Crew 2 Hot Shots has begun and this week we got the "Rising Sun" Summit, where you can win the exclusive Red Fury edition of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X. Here you can see how to get top results in all 9 events of this Summit, which will not only easily get you into the platinum ranks but even much higher than that. :) Timeline: 0:00 Polar Rush Summit Result and Rising Sun Summit Rewards (May 1 to May 8) 0:42 Low Altitude Skill "Glacier Park" with Air Race Harmon Rocket HR III 2:01 Water Slalom Skill "Grand Canyon" with Power Boat Frauscher 1414 Demon 3:06 Buoy Smashing Skill "East River" with Power Boat Frauscher 1414 Demon 4:11 Street Race Event "Miami Harbor" with Nissan GT-R (R35) 7:09 Drift Event "Airport Terminal D" with Nissan 370Z Nismo 9:54 Drag Race Event "Tweak And Shout" with Nissan 370Z (Z34) 11:06 Touring Car Event "Jersey Race Track" with Mazda MX-5 14:34 Street Race Event "San Bernardino Mountains" with Kawasaki Ninja H2 18:19 Hypercar / Street Race Combo Event "Hollywood" with Kawasaki Ninja H2 This week my overall rank in the Summit is slightly worse than last week, even though my own performance is just as good. That's because this week all 3 skills are point-based skills, where people with the legendary skill point set can easily gain a lot of Summit points on people without it. Don't worry if you are just going for platinum though. Even without a single legendary set I am still easily in the top 100 overall right now, since not a lot of people own these very rare sets yet, so you definitely don't need them for platinum. Since all 3 skills are point-based you should use performance parts with a skill point bonus if you have them, which are the ones with the triangle icon. Also max out the "Skilled" perk with your icon points of course when you do the 3 skills. For the Low Altitude skill you can use an Air Race plane. Note that it is possible to start this skill in both directions, so if you don't like the default path you can fly over the start gate and turn around to try doing it the other way. In both of the water skills you can get the highest score with a power boat (unless you have the legendary skill point set for one of the other water disciplines). The 180° turn in the slalom might be awkward with a power boat but the Jet Sprint boats simply have too little top speed for the other parts of the skill. And Buoy Smashing might seem like a Jet Sprint skill but even here power boats are better, since you have enough time to hit every green buoy set even when you are going slowly and with a power boat you will hit more buoys in each set because your boat is a lot bigger. But of course you can also do a few tries with Jet Sprint if you are really struggling a lot with the power boats. Be smart about the skills and see what works for you instead of just blindly following what the top guys do even if it fails for you. This also goes for your choice of power boat. There are several models that are competitive for the slalom. The GT-R and MX-5 events both have very awesome race tracks for beginners. For these events I am using my standard car setup from this video:    • The Crew 2 - Street Race Result Summary + ...   In terms of performance parts you should focus on extra pump and other nitrous bonuses of course. Drift is just a regular drift event again. Make sure to move your icon points to the "Hothead" and "Slippery" perks for this one and also use performance parts with these two bonuses if you have them. Don't spend too many resources on getting better parts though, since one of the rewards of this very Summit is a legendary drift part set. In Drag you can get much better times if you play in a crew and with the legendary nitrous set. In my video you can see what is possible without that. In the two bike events I am using my regular Street Race performance parts with nitrous bonuses. I heard that you can be faster though if you use parts with the "Bender" bonus, so you should give those a try if you have some of them. Hopefully this guide will help some of you improve some of your scores and your overall leaderboard rank as a result. Even though the competition might be stronger this week because a lot of people want the Evo I still think that anyone should be able to reach platinum as long as you have at least your vehicle levels maxed out. You definitely don't need any of the legendary sets, since I don't yet have any of those either. If this video will be equally successful as the previous one, then I will definitely continue to do them, so you don't need to constantly ask me about it. I will try to always get the video done during the first 3 days of the Summit, so if you check my channel on Saturday it should usually be there.
