In this video, I show my homemade bushcraft fire starter that works in any weather — rain, wind, and cold.
I used a copper tube and a paraffin‑soaked cord that easily ignites from a ferrocerium rod. When you pull out the end of the cord and fluff it up a bit, it lights instantly. And when you pull the cord back into the tube, the flame goes out.
This is a compact, reliable, and simple fire starter for camping, survival, and bushcraft.
