Oh Premasiri ඕ ප්‍රේමසිරි (මුල් ගීතය) - Latha & Dharmadasa Walpola - From 'Ramyalatha' (1956)

'Oh Premasiri' has two versions one when Premasiri and Prabhawathie were in school as kids and then when they were adults and as lovers. This is the adult version performed by Rita Ratnayake and Aruna Shanthi. The other version consist of different singers and two children actor/actress. Very old movie and a great year for Sinhala cinema too. If my memory serves me well, there was a book called 'Ramyalatha' too, a poetry collection, not sure it has anything to do with the film as the film credits have no mentioning of the book. Beautiful music by R Muttusami and the golden voice of Walpolas. #SriLankanMusic #SinhalaSongs #SinhalaCinema
