🧠 FREE MASTERCLASS: When Pain Gets in the Way Ready to change your relationship with pain? In this free, 50-minute, on-demand masterclass, we’ll explore what pain really is, why it can persist, and how learning to respond differently can open the door to sustainable recovery. 👉 https://hometown-health-llc.kit.com/8... ⸻ What does self-care look like when you’re having a hard day? Today is a low-spoon day for me. And while my old instinct would be to push through, ignore my limits, and get everything done anyway, I’m practicing something different. For a long time, pushing through was how I accomplished things. And while that strategy served me in some ways, it also came at a cost. These days, I’m learning that caring for myself isn’t just about what I do. It’s about how I respond to myself when things get hard. In this video, I’m sharing what that process looks like in real time, why changing our automatic responses can be so challenging, and how learning to work with our bodies instead of against them can help us create more sustainable ways of living. Because sustainable change isn’t about abandoning our goals. It’s about learning how to pursue them without continually abandoning ourselves. 🥄 Want to learn more about Spoon Theory?
