How to Fix Rear Humming Noise on BMW X5 G05 (Strut & Hub DIY)

Hope this helps other G05 owners looking to service their own vehicles! -------------------------------------------------- [ 2022 BMW X5 G05 sDrive40i - Rear Suspension Torque Specs (ISTA) ] • Rear spring strut to body (M10): 56 Nm + 90° • Rear spring strut to camber control arm (M14): 165 Nm + 90° (tighten at normal ride height) • Camber control arm to wheel carrier (M14): 165 Nm + 90° (tighten at normal ride height) • Anti-roll bar link to camber control arm (M10): 56 Nm + 90° (tighten at normal ride height) • Camber control arm eccentric bolt to rear axle support (M14): 175 Nm (tighten at normal ride height, final tightening after wheel alignment) • Spring strut support bearing center nut (M12): 34 Nm • Wheel bolts: 140 Nm ▲ Normal Ride Height (Steel Spring): Measure from the center of the rear wheel hub to the lower edge of the wheel arch/fender: 451 mm ± 10 mm (target: approx. 451–452 mm) • Wheel bearing to wheel carrier (M12 - Spherical-collar bolts): *Must strictly adhere to the tightening sequence (crosswise & simultaneous): 1) Initial torque: 140 Nm 2) Unscrew all bolts: max. 45° 3) Tightening torque: 120 Nm 4) Angle of rotation: 90° ※ Renew spherical-collar screws. • Brake caliper to wheel carrier, rear (M12): 130 Nm ※ Renew screws.
