Hope this helps other G05 owners looking to service their own vehicles! -------------------------------------------------- [ 2022 BMW X5 G05 sDrive40i - Engine Oil Service Specs (ISTA) ] • Engine: B58B30M1 • Engine oil capacity with oil filter replacement: 6.5 L (approx. 6.9 US qt) • Recommended oil temperature before draining: Above 70°C (158°F) • Engine oil drain plug (M12 x 16): 25 Nm (18.4 lb-ft) ※ Renew the sealing ring. • Oil filter cap: 25 Nm (18.4 lb-ft) ※ Renew the oil filter and O-ring. ※ Lightly coat the new O-ring with fresh engine oil. ※ Make sure the new O-ring is installed in the correct groove on the filter cap. ※ Make sure the new filter snaps securely into the filter cap. -------------------------------------------------- [ ELECTRONIC OIL LEVEL CHECK ] After filling the engine with oil: • Reinstall and securely close the oil filler cap. • Make sure the vehicle is parked on a level surface. • Perform the electronic oil-level measurement. • Add oil only if required. Do not overfill the engine. -------------------------------------------------- [ CBS OIL SERVICE RESET ] • Press START/STOP 3 times to enter PAD mode. • Press and hold the trip-reset button for approximately 10 seconds. • Select ENGINE OIL from the service menu. • When “Reset possible” appears, press and hold the button again. • Confirm the reset. • Verify that “Reset successful” appears. -------------------------------------------------- [ USED ENGINE OIL ] Please recycle your used engine oil properly.
