Perth Is Great… But I Need Something Else

I live in Ellenbrook, on the edge of Perth in Western Australia. It’s comfortable, modern, safe and, on paper, a pretty great place to live. But lately I’ve found myself wanting something less predictable. This is the first video on Elsewhere with Mike — a channel about travel, different places, different people, and what those experiences might teach me about life along the way. In a few days I’m heading to Chiang Mai in northern Thailand for a month. I’ve never been there before, I don’t speak the language, and I don’t really know what to expect. That’s kind of the point.
