But I had no idea just how memorable meeting these elephants would be! My visit to *Pon Elephant Sanctuary* was an absolute highlight of my time in Thailand. These magnificent animals were incredibly friendly, curious and playful, and getting to interact with them up close was a genuine privilege. I even got into the water with them, where we had a fantastic time splashing each other! But the adventure didn't end there. We also visited the beautiful *Mae Sapok Waterfall* and a traditional **Karen hill tribe village**, where I had the opportunity to learn a little about the local people and their way of life. It was a wonderful day exploring the natural beauty and culture of northern Thailand, but the elephants absolutely stole the show! Come along and experience it with me.
