Sealed Letter

POEM #18 — A LETTER WITHOUT A SEAL Jorge A. Nazario — Family Collection “A Letter Without a Seal” is a poem by Jorge A. Nazario that uses the image of a letter without a seal, registration, address, or approval to present a spiritual truth. Just as a letter must be properly identified in order to reach its destination, Jorge compares the Christian to one who has been sealed as the property of God with the Holy Spirit as a sign of redemption. The poem speaks of faith, the blood of Christ washing away sin, freedom from bondage, and the hope of the heavenly kingdom. Its message encourages us to walk securely, illuminated by the light of Christ, while awaiting the day when He comes for His people. Jorge closes by remembering Ephesians 1:13: after hearing the word of truth, the gospel of salvation, and believing in Christ, we are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.
