In August 2026, we linked up with the awesome family @fireandirie to take a walk through the bustling town of Highgate in St. Mary, Jamaica! 🇯🇲 As a massive group of 13 people—4 adults and 9 children—we stepped out onto the busy high street along the B2 road to soak in the local atmosphere, meet friendly locals, smell fresh jerk chicken in the air, and stock up on tropical fruits and local treats! During our walk, we checked out local fruit and produce prices from street vendors—including breadfruit for $300 JMD, fresh pineapples ($150/lb), and sweet guineps for $100 JMD. We made our way down to Cha Robs Enterprise supermarket to buy snacks and cold drinks like Miracle Peanut Punch, Squeez juice, and iCool. But there was one big catch: they don't take card, and EVERY ATM in town was completely out of cash! 💳❌ Watch how we navigated local shopping in rural Jamaica!
