What stood here before the Temple of Literature became one of Hanoi’s most important cultural landmarks? 🇻🇳 Continue beyond the Great Ceremonial Hall and discover the historic site of Vietnam’s first university - Van Mieu, Quoc Tu Giam. This is Part 2 of our immersive walk through the Temple of Literature in Hanoi. Founded in 1076, Quoc Tu Giam became the highest educational institution in Vietnam during the feudal era, playing a central role in the country’s long tradition of learning, scholarship and Confucian education. In this walk, we continue beyond the Great Ceremonial Hall into the Thai Hoc area, built on the former site of Van Mieu, Quoc Tu Giam. Here, the atmosphere changes. Walk through traditional Vietnamese architecture, the historic academic spaces, the bell and drum pavilions, cultural displays and the stories surrounding generations of Vietnamese scholars. The Thai Hoc area also preserves and presents the history of Vietnamese education and examination traditions, including spaces connected with Chu Van An and the emperors associated with the development of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam. This is not a narrated history documentary. There is no voiceover and no staged tour. Just a slow, immersive walk through one of Vietnam’s most important cultural heritage sites — with real ambient sounds and the atmosphere of Hanoi as experienced on foot. 🎥 4K Walking Tour 🎧 Real Ambient Sounds 🚶 No Talking 🇻🇳 Authentic Hanoi, Vietnam If you love Vietnamese history, traditional architecture, cultural heritage, slow travel and authentic local experiences, walk with us beyond the famous landmarks and deeper into the story of Hanoi. Part 1 took us from the entrance to the Great Ceremonial Hall. Link part 1:    • Inside the 950-Year-Old Place That Shaped ...   Part 2 continues beyond it.
