Chapter 1:    • A Complete History of Liverpool FC (Chapte...   Chapter 2: The Lost Years (1918–1959) Liverpool Football Club is now one of the most successful clubs in football history. But before the dominance, before the European nights, and before the legendary era of Bill Shankly… there were decades of stagnation. In this episode, we explore the forgotten period in Liverpool’s history between 1918 and 1959 — a time when the club slowly drifted away from the top of English football. From post-World War I success to decades of institutional inertia, from economic and cultural shifts in the city of Liverpool to the club’s eventual relegation in 1954, this episode examines how Liverpool went from champions to a club struggling to rediscover its identity. We also explore the FA Cup defeat to Worcester City in 1959 - a moment that exposed how far the club had fallen and why radical change became unavoidable. This is the story of Liverpool’s lost years. And why 1959 changed everything. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapters 0:00 - Introduction 2:09 - Post-War Liverpool (1918–1923) 5:45 - The Years of Stagnation 8:27- The Changing City of Liverpool 14:15- Post-War Football & Decline 18:59- Relegation in 1954 20:55 - The Worcester City Shock 22:41- Why Change Became Inevitable 23:24 - Conclusion -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Buy Us A Coffee https://www.buymeacoffee.com/menacemonk Join this channel to get access to perks:    / @menaceandmonk   Please make sure you hit the subscribe button and follow us on social media Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/menaceandmo...
