Antelope Island is famous for bison and big landscapes, but Garr Ranch tucked into the island might be the best migration hotspot in Utah. This old sheep and cattle ranch is home to one of the only real stands of trees on the island, so when migrants make the crossing over the Great Salt Lake, this patch of forest is basically the only place to refuel. Kaleb, Pieter, and I spent a September morning working every corner of it, from the old ranch buildings to the edge habitat, and got some of the best flycatcher and warbler activity I've seen all season. 📷 Checkout the Gear I Use: https://www.hawkinthelens.com/my-gear eBird Hotspot for Garr Ranch: https://ebird.org/hotspot/L212071 Read more about Antelope Island State Park: https://stateparks.utah.gov/parks/ant...
