144ll Obstacle Class EQUITANA, Australian Brumby Challenge Lara Beth

This was one of the most fun day I have had with Cooper throughout the entire challenge. He has settled into the competition environment and is now able to relax in his stable. He is still always scouting for new threats to his heard but he had devoured his hay over night and was ready for todays competition. The obstacle class is made up of different objects designed to put our comunication to the test. We had never seen any of the objects before, and we were both excited to give everything a go. This class was designed to show the judges what cues we had put on our horses and how well we could work with our horses as a team. Cooepr got into the arean saw the croud and froze.. so many of his muscles were holding back telling me that he wanted to go back to the safety of the warm up ring. The best part was that no matter how emotional he felt when he walked in, he still chose to listen to all of my cues.
