CWPP Deep Dive & Firewise Toolkit Announcement

The Ventura Regional Fire Safe Council hosts a monthly live workshop over Zoom to help residents with the Firewise USA® process and how to get the recognition for their neighborhood. This recording took place Sept 18th, 2026. This month's Firewise workshop features a closer look at Community Wildfire Protection Plans. A previous workshop (listed in links below) gave an overview of what a CWPP is and the benefit for communities to have one implemented. This workshop breaks down the process of creating the Ventura City CWPP and answers questions as to how CWPPs might differ based on needs of its community. Lastly, Firewise Digital Toolkits are announced for recognized neighborhoods in Ventura County. This workshop includes a brief tutorial on how to access it and what it includes.
